What this site stores, what it does not, and which third parties see anything when you visit.

There are no accounts on this site, and no analytics. We do not run Google Analytics or any equivalent, and we do not build a profile of you. Nothing you set here is uploaded — your preferences and saved articles live in your own browser and never reach us. The exceptions are listed below, in full.
These are local storage entries, not cookies. They stay on your device, are readable only by this site, and are never transmitted to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.
nnn:filters — your search, region, topic, time-window and sort choices, plus any sources you have hidden, regions you have pinned and keywords you follow.nnn:later — the headlines you save with Read Later: title, link, source and the time you saved it.nnn:tab — which market ticker tab you had open.nnn:trend, nnn:brief — whether you collapsed the Trending or Brief sections.nnn:nl-intent — if you enter an address in the newsletter box, it is kept only in your browser. The newsletter is not connected to a mailing provider yet, so nothing is sent anywhere. The contact form is the only place this site collects personal information. When you submit it we receive the name, email address, topic and message you typed, delivered to our inbox by email through Resend, our email provider. It is not written to any database and not used for marketing — we use your address to reply, and nothing else.
Visiting a page necessarily reveals your IP address and browser details to whoever serves it. On this site that means:
Headlines, podcast links and book links point to other people’s websites. We do not embed them — there are no third-party players, comment widgets or social buttons on these pages — but once you follow a link you are on that site and its privacy policy applies, not ours. Book links to Amazon carry an affiliate tag, which tells Amazon the visit came from here.
This site does not currently display advertising, and no ad network is running on it today.
We intend to serve ads through Google AdSense. Once that is enabled:
This page will be updated on the day advertising goes live, and the date at the top will change with it.
You can clear everything this site has put in your browser at any time through your browser’s “clear site data” setting; the pages continue to work, simply without your saved preferences. Because we hold no account for you and no analytics record, there is nothing else of yours for us to delete — apart from a message you may have sent us, which we can remove on request.
This is a financial news site intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Ask through the contact form, or email nnnbrief@outlook.com. If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
